A little kindness in Buncrana that deserves recognition!

A little kindness in Buncrana

Sometimes it's the little things that remind us what a great community we have here in Inishowen.

A lovely story shared on the Letterkenny Babies Facebook page tells of a group of young lads who returned to McKenna's Londis in Buncrana to pay Hannah, a shop assistant, for lunches they had received the previous day when their Revolut payments weren't working.

Fair play to the young lads for coming back and paying what they owed.

And a massive well done to Hannah and the team at McKenna's Londis for trusting the lads and looking after them when they were stuck.

Two simple acts of decency, kindness shown and kindness repaid.

It's a lovely reminder that there are some great young people growing up in our communities and some fantastic local businesses looking out for them.

This is the Inishowen community spirit we love to see!

Let's give Hannah, the Londis team and those young lads the recognition they deserve!
